27 weeks pregnant!

I'm officially in my 3rd trimester! Crazy to think that this little boy is going to be joining us in just a few short months! We are getting really excited, and are slowly starting to do things for the baby room. He is kicking me all the time, but luckily it isn't while I'm trying to sleep. I'm still feeling good and going to the gym whenever I can. I have a baby shower coming up at the end of August and we can't wait for it!

Trip to Oregon

Ken and I made a trip to Oregon for his cousin's wedding, but while we were there we stayed at his families cabin for a few days and got to see some family and friends that we haven't seen in a few years! It was a great week off and so relaxing. I thought traveling all that way was going to be difficult while being 6 months pregnant, but it wasn't that bad. The weather was perfect and we had a great time seeing everyone, especially seeing his cousin get married! Enjoy the pictures!

23 weeks

Catalina Trip

For my birthday Ken promised that we would go away to Catalina. I had never been to Catalina, so I was really excited to go. We stayed in an old hotel called the Glenmore Hotel. It was the perfect hotel because we knew that this trip was all about learning what to do on the island, where to eat, where to stay and so on. Well when we got to our room...it was just so tiny that we both looked at each other and thought...this can't be it! Oh but it was! We also found out that everything closed a like 6pm...which was really weird to us, but as most of these shops are run by people on the island and they probably want to get home to their families at a decent hour. Since I was prego, hanging out at a bar till the wee hours was out of the question. Every night we decided to go out to dinner, and then head back to the hotel and watch tv for the rest of the night. All in all it was a great couple days! We can't wait to go back.
