Hawaii Trip

Well we just got back from our wonderful trip to Hawaii! None of us really wanted to leave...it was just so beautiful! Wyatt did amazing on the flight. It was really nice to have Ken with me because of all the stuff we had to do with Wyatt, the car seat and stroller. Before I get into the telling about the trip, let me tell you what happened the day before and the day of. The day before we leave I'm playing with Wyatt on the couch and I decide to lay him on it for a second while I get up and grab something. Well all of a sudden I hear this thud and then screaming from him...I look at the couch and Wyatt isn't on it anymore. He fell off the couch and landed on the floor face first. I start freaking out and he's crying up a storm. I race upstairs to tell ken what happened and he said call the doctors office to find out what we should do. So I call and they say to bring him into the hospital. So off we went to the hospital. We sat for about 1/2 hour and the doctor came in and checked him out and all was fine! Thank God!! We get back home and Wyatt is fine for the rest of the day/night. Now it's the morning of and we get everything in the car and ready to go, and as we are about 10 minutes away from LAX the freeway comes to a complete stop. All 5 lanes!!! No one is moving. We are freaking out, and cars are turning around on the freeway to try to get off the off-ramp. After about 10 minutes of waiting, we see the carpool lane moving and we try our best to get over to that lane. Come to find out that there had been an accident on another freeway and it was closed, so police were directing people to use the other freeway. We finally made it to LAX and got through security with no issues. Wyatt did great on the flight there and back. The people behind us and in front of us didn't even know there was a little baby around them. Hawaii was beautiful! We stayed at this amazing condo with an awesome view. Every day we would wake up and just look out at the ocean. Since January is Whale Watching season, we actually saw some whale spouts from our balcony. It was so cool! Wyatt decided to start sleeping through the night, which was great for mommy and daddy! We all did the Road to Hana one day which was so beautiful. Long, but really pretty. Another day we all took a ferry over to another island to go snorkeling. Wyatt got his first taste of the ocean, and he didn't like it too much! :) Since my mom was celebrating her birthday in Hawaii, we had to do a Luau! It was so fun and Wyatt slept through the entire show, but was able to get a really great picture of him with some Hawaiian girls! (It will be in his wedding video for sure!) One day the guys played golf, and one day all of the girls went to get massages. It was so nice and very well needed. Thanks mom! All in all it was a great trip! Can't wait to go back when Wyatt is a little bit older. Enjoy the pictures!

Mom's 60th Birthday

Happy Birthday Mom! I love you so much, and am so glad that we get to celebrate you while in Hawaii! Thank you for all of the great advice over the years and especially now as I am a parent. Can't wait to celebrate you next weekend!

Wyatt's 2 months old

Where o' where has the time gone? My little man is 2 months old today! He is just getting so big. He loves to watch the TV with mom and dad, stare at his jungle gym animals, giving big smiles, and is starting to coo a lot more. He hates it when feeding time is over, having a dirty diaper for too long, getting into his car seat and then when the car is stopped for a long period of time. He went to the doctors office for his 2 month check up, and everything is right on track. He is 12 pounds now, and the poor little guy had to get 3 shots today. Ken came with me to the doctors office and held Wyatt down while the doc gave him the shots. He cried for about 5 minutes afterwards...poor little guy! Breaks my heart. :( But, now for the good news...we leave for Hawaii in 2 days! Can't wait to spend a week with my family in paradise. Here are some pictures our little guy getting so big!
